I went through some old yearbooks and found some historical helmets for you.
The current logo was first used in '94.
1975-1976: White helmet, grey mask, no decals or stripes
1977-1987: Red helmet, grey mask, no decals or stripes
1988: Red helmet, grey mask, block "S" decal on right side and 2 stripes. The decal is exactly like Stafford 2009. The color of the decal and stripes were dark grey.
1989-199: Red helmet, grey mask, "S" decal on both sides and 2 stripes. The decal is exactly like Stanford University. The color of the decal and the stripes were silver.
1991-1993: Red helmet, grey mask, Buffalo decal on both sides, no stripes. The decal was exactly like the Buffalo Bills. The buffalo was silver with white outline
