Matt, Check on something. Colored face masks did not come out until 1978(?). But shown as black back in the 1960s. I remember watching them play Sanger in early 80s. They had grey helmets with stripes and numbers on side. Also, while researching (I'll send later) Lake Dallas, I came across the bear claw helmets with an orange "interlocking PP" in the palm. There is a good site - www.pilotpointfootball.org - that has most of the years helmets. In the history section, go to years and if it isn't shown in the year team picture, there are alot of newspaper articles (under the games) that have pics. I'm not sure what years, but Pilot Point uses a black helmet, black mask no emblem during playoffs. Shown in these articles. Russell
