Thanks so much for creating this site and keeping up with it. Us Texas high school football fans really appreciate it. I played my high school ball at Poth in the fall's of 2002 through 2005. We used this helmet design linked on the site below from 2004-2006. We used the same helmet design and decal but with a solid, single yellow stripe added down the middle from either 1997 or 1998 to 2003.

I know of at least two other historical helmets from Poth that were used in the early to mid-90's but I can't remember the exact years they were used and the little details about them. I do know that they were the helmets were navy blue with navy facemasks. I want to say the earlier one had "Poth" written in script in either yellow or white with no stipes. This design was probaly used since the 80's and maybe earlier.
The other one was used for two years right before the flag decal and it was just a yellow "P" on both sides. The "P" was very similar to the one that Permian uses. I think that this helmet design also had a solid, single yellow stripe going down it. Hopefully somebody can clarify this with pictures or their own personal memory.
